PHP: $_REQUEST doesn’t contain Cookies

Posted: June 9, 2014 in PHP

In PHP 5.3, request_order is introduced. This directive affects the contents of $_REQUEST.

If this directive is not set, variables_order is used for $_REQUEST contents.

Note that the default distribution php.ini files does not contain the ‘C’ for cookies, due to security concerns.

To include Cookie in $_REQUEST, just make sure that request_order is set to GPC

request_order = "GPC"
